I cannot believe it’s already 2019! The year flew by so fast and it was full of change.
Our daughter graduated grade 12 in June and completed her first term of university by December. She moved away from home but for this first year, only to her grandparents in the city. We will move her into her own apartment next fall for her second year.
Our son completed another successful year on the farm. It’s his fourth year of putting in his own crop and he’s done very well. He always knew he was going to farm and there’s no chance of putting other ideas in to his head.
I booked a trip to England, Paris and Scotland for myself, my daughter and my travelling companion cousin. We fly out May 1st. A ton of planning involved taking me anywhere with my disability and this trip will have a few more challenges. I’ll talk more about that in another post.
I completed three hats for Christmas presents, a cowl for my husband and started a new pair of socks.
I didn’t make any resolutions for 2019 but think of them as goals. Some weight to lose before our trip, journaling more consistent and of course that includes this blog.
Of course I have knitting goals as well. I’d like to complete four pairs of socks and learn to do colour work with the Baable Hat pattern found here on Ravelry by Donna Smith. It’s a beautiful pattern and I encourage everyone to buy it.
That’s it for now. A hope and a wish for health, love and prosperity to you xx
